During Farewll party. Departing Lebanon to Canada, 2008. I was emotional with endless tear running down from my eyes to my face indisbelief that I was leaving my community we collectively built to care for refugees.

Ubuntu: “I am what I am because of who we all are” is African concept that considers the success of the group above that of the individual.” It means people are generous, hospitable, welcoming and willing to share their possessions with most unfortunate people.
